“these stars wanna blow their brains to venus.
and die inside the club be the next river phoenix.
i mean correction. i mean heath ledger.
who would think an olsen twin would deal the deadly pleasure.”
i probably shouldn’t be posting this. for a number of reasons. mostly personal reasons, morals, respect, youknow, things like that. but i’m posting this anyway. because the damn ‘anyone but him’ lyrics get stuck in my head all day and i find myself singing it out loud when nobody’s around. because i still have hope for kanye. even though he probably just got a huge boner when he heard mr. hudson’s awesome autotune skills and decided he needed to be a part of whatever the fuck this is. because that’s what he does. so fuck me. here’s a song or two by mr. hudson. and onetwo three of them features mr. west…
i’ve seen “mr. hudson ft. kanye west” and i’ve seen “kanye west ft. mr. hudson” and i’m not sure which one is correct. i don’t really care very much/at all, but i just wanted to point that out. thanks.
i don’t really know why i downloaded this album. i’ve never liked lil flip, never really gave a damn. and it’s def. a strange choice for a first post to get things rolling again…but i don’t caaareeeeee. i downloaded it. listened to the first few songs. and that’s about as far as i’ll get with this one, so here; track three of the new lil flip album/mixtape/whatever….
“i twist my (something) tight, just like a dreadlock
the impact of a charge is like a e. honda headlock”
ok the other day i made a post about this dude from cali called dert. he made a beat tape with samples from bjork songs, pretty cool. today (without even looking for him) i came across another beat tape he did, but this time using pink floyd samples. and i have to say, i like this guy. his beats are tight, and that album cover is fucking awesome. so check this shit out…
i don’t know who the hell this dert guy is or what he’s all about, but he likes bjork and so do i. although i don’t really follow, or even listen to her anymore, i can’t help but love her. bjork was one of the first artists that showed me there are no rules when it comes to music. like. no rules. none.
so here’s a track off the tape. samples one of bjork’s more popular songs “it’s oh so quiet”
dude is still at it. writing crazy raps about crazy shit that doesn’t make sense. but somehow i get it. i just get it…
i don’t know what his relationship with mf doom is. i don’t know exactly why they are friends, maybe they talk about weird lyrical patterns. so something… anyway. here’s a song or two from his new mixtape full moon kaboom
i think i have a new favorite kanye mixtape!!frrreeessssshhhh
i still hate to think of kanye the way he is now, so this just makes me feel good about the man! takin’ it back to that GOOD shit.
mixed by a-trak this is a little soul mix of a few songs kanye’s sampled throughout the years, but my favorite parts of the mix are when kanye talks about random shit. the things he says are grreeeaaattt!!
